there once live a little boy

age of 3, staying a happy family down the road

an old man stayed opp him

one day this old man came over to the boy's house and ask his parents' permission to take him to church which was just down the road


with the parents' consent, holding by the boy's hand, the old man brought the little boy to the church

the boy had fun, doing art, listening to stories
he started looking forwards to the weekends where he will spend his time at the church
one day, two days, many days and then months past, and the boy's love for god and the church grew
soon his parents and siblings were drawn to the church too

little did the boy know that the little step he took to church was going to change his life... there is nth else he will ask for thereafter

as the lttle boy grew, he went to church himself and forgot about the man who brought him to church

the boy's devotion towards the church increased, he joined the ministries, took part in lots of activities to spread the word of god. he was a smart kid who exceled in his studies and serve god together


one day the little boy who now was a young man remembered about the old man who first brought him to church
when he ask others bout him, he was sadden to know bout the old man's passing
with no grand ceremony
with no children with him
with no friends by his side

if he was still living today,
he will be proud to know that the little boy has grown into a fine young man,
with a respectable degree,
holding a stable job and has taken the role as a paster in one of the biggest church in singapore
